Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Philanthrofi (the "Service"), operated by Chromatix Technologies ("Chromatix," "we," "us," or "our"), available at projectforge.live. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you represent that you have permission from a parent or guardian to use the Service and agree to these Terms on your behalf.

2. Description of the Service

Philanthrofi generates suggested independent project roles, deliverable templates, and related content (including resume, interview preparation, and social-media-post content) based on information you provide. Philanthrofi is a planning and preparation tool. It does not perform the underlying work for you, verify the accuracy of any content you submit, or guarantee any employment, internship, or interview outcome.

3. Honest Use and Self-Directed Work

The Service is designed to help you plan and document genuine, self-directed work that you personally complete. You agree that:

• You will not use the Service to fabricate, misrepresent, or claim credit for work you did not actually perform.
• Any role titles generated (e.g., "Independent Financial Analyst") describe self-directed project work, not actual employment, and you will not represent them as employment to any third party (including employers, schools, or licensing bodies).
• Any results, findings, or data you present as part of a completed deliverable must reflect work you genuinely did.

You are solely responsible for the accuracy and honesty of any content you present to employers, schools, or other third parties based on your use of the Service.

4. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@projectforge.live of any unauthorized use.

5. User Content and Uploaded Evidence

• You retain ownership of any content, files, or evidence you upload to the Service ("User Content").
• By uploading User Content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, display, and process it solely to provide the Service to you (e.g., displaying your evidence links within your account, generating resume/interview content from it).
• You represent that you have the right to upload and share any User Content, and that it does not infringe on any third party's rights.
• We do not claim ownership of your User Content and do not use it to train AI models beyond what is necessary to operate the Service, except as separately disclosed.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
• Misrepresent generated content as employment history, academic credentials, or credentials you do not hold.
• Upload content that is false, defamatory, infringing, or that you do not have rights to share.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the Service.
• Use the Service to harass, harm, or impersonate others.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, generation logic, templates, and branding, is owned by Chromatix Technologies and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks, logos, or proprietary technology beyond what is necessary to use the Service as intended.

8. Third-Party Services

The Service is built using and relies on third-party platforms and providers (including but not limited to Lovable, hosting and infrastructure providers, and AI content-generation providers). We do not control and are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or performance of these third-party services.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
• Generated content (including roles, deliverables, resume bullets, or interview prep) will result in any particular outcome, including but not limited to interview success, job offers, or admission to any program.
• Any AI-generated output is accurate, complete, or suitable for your specific purpose.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CHROMATIX TECHNOLOGIES AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, OR LOSS OF GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) $100 USD.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Chromatix Technologies from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Service, (b) your User Content, (c) your violation of these Terms, or (d) your misrepresentation of generated content to any third party.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved by binding individual arbitration, rather than in court, except that either party may bring an individual action in small claims court. You and Chromatix each waive any right to a jury trial or to participate in a class, consolidated, or representative proceeding.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will post the updated Terms with a new "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
